2. Eligibility

You must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and a major credit or debit card to rent a vehicle from Rental Aspen Car.

3. Reservation & Payment

• A valid credit/debit card is required to complete your booking.
• Full payment of the rental fee and a refundable $1000 security deposit is required at checkout.
• The deposit will be automatically refunded within 1–4 business days after your trip ends, provided the vehicle is returned in its original condition.

4. Deposit Terms

• The $1000 deposit covers potential damages, late returns, cleaning fees, traffic violations, or any other breaches of this agreement.
• If any issues are found upon inspection after return, the cost of those issues will be deducted from the deposit.
• You will be notified via email of any deductions.

5. Use of Vehicle

• The renter agrees to use the vehicle only for lawful purposes.
• The vehicle must not be used for off-road driving, racing, towing, or in violation of any traffic or safety laws.
• Smoking inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited. A cleaning fee may apply.

6. Insurance & Liability

Renters must carry valid auto insurance. Proof may be required at the time of rental. The renter is responsible for any damage to the vehicle not covered by insurance.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

• Free cancellation is available.
• To cancel a trip, renters must send an email to aspencarcare@yahoo.com with their reservation details.
• No cancellation fees apply at this time.

8. Privacy Policy

All personal information collected during the booking process is handled securely and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Modifications to Terms

Rental Aspen Car reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

11. Insurance Policy

All renters and drivers are required to have their own valid car insurance policies. The rented vehicles will be covered under the renter’s personal insurance policy. Proof of insurance must be presented before or at the time of vehicle pickup.
